Fixed Route

Communicating the expectations and strategies we and our clients have for providing clean, comfortable and reliable service to all customers, including seniors and people with disabilities, is the primary goal of our training programs.
RydeTrans’ training program provides training in all areas of transit operations, including federal, state, company and contractual requirements, safe vehicle operations, customer service and passenger awareness and sensitivity, accident and incident procedures, and service policies and procedures. RydeTrans will maintain documentation of all training provided and will ensure that each employee’s training file shows all training which that employee has received.

RydeTrans has been in the business of providing paratransit services for over 20 years. This breadth of experience makes RydeTrans a go-to source for innovative, cost-effective and efficient solutions for all types of paratransit service.
We were founded to provide service to people with special needs, and this type of service represents the majority of our business. We understand the letter and spirit of the Americans with Disabilities Act, the specific requirements that pertain to transit agencies responsible for providing ADA paratransit, and the provisions of the ADA that bar discrimination based on disability.
RydeTrans has provided paratransit services since 1988, and our paratransit operations emphasize safety and reliability while being cost effective. Our management of paratransit services includes call centers (customer service and reservations), scheduling, dispatching and vehicle maintenance.
Utilizing state of the art technology is one of the ways A-Para Transit provides exemplary service quality. We have extensive experience with various scheduling software platforms, including:

Our vehicles are equipped with AVL/GPS devices, which allows our dispatchers to pinpoint the exact location of our vehicles. In addition, vehicles are equipped with mobile data computer (MDC) tablets, which improve driver / dispatcher communication and enhance on time performance.
